Hello!
I'm Lucinda Baker, and I'm so happy you're here!
I truly believe that once you learn to see the horse’s perspective, everything becomes possible - learning new things, going new places, or simply enjoying each other’s company.
I hope you'll come along for the ride and find what's possible with YOUR horse!
My Story
I began riding at age 4 and trained in Classical Hunt Seat and Show Jumping until age 14. After raising two children, studying Early Childhood Education and Sociology, and running several businesses for over 28 years as a CEO, I returned to horses at 41. My small Arabian, Nemo, became the heart of my journey back into horsemanship.
I have since developed a deep, science-informed understanding of horses built through decades of hands-on experience, study, and research. At heart, I am both a researcher and a teacher - always eager to share what I've learned from some of the greatest scientists and teachers in the world.
I am a certified Horse Speak® practitioner. I teach Horse Speak within the context of the Equine Mandala™, which also includes:
-
Basic Neuroscience
-
Equine Ethology
-
Learning to Learn, Memory and Emotion

My teachers and mentors include the following experts - the information I offer is in alignment with, and checked by, their work:
