Next Workshop Series Begins Winter 2026/27

Workshops are 2½–4-hour learning sessions offered during the winter season as a 6‑week series, where each week builds naturally on the one before it. Participants may attend individual sessions, but the full series offers the greatest benefit, allowing time for concepts to settle, integrate, and deepen over time.

Note:

The same workshop content is offered Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings, giving participants flexibility in scheduling without missing material.

Each session blends dynamic teaching, short and engaging horse videos, hands‑on work with the Being Herd™ Puppets, and experiential activities that make the ideas concrete and usable. Together, these sessions provide a strong grounding in Being Herd & Seen concepts, helping participants not just understand the material, but feel it.

Workshops are intentionally designed as a next step after Lucinda’s free monthly introductory sessions, offering more structure, continuity, and practice. They also serve as an excellent foundation for participants who plan to attend a more immersive clinic, arriving better prepared, more confident, and already fluent in the core concepts.

Workshop groups are limited to 25 participants, creating an interactive, energized learning environment while still allowing for discussion, participation, and connection.

Best for:

  • Getting oriented to the Equine Mandala

  • Skill‑building

  • Seeing Being Herd & Seen in action

Workshop Session Descriptions

Session 1: The Horse’s Sensory World

Learn to read your horse’s body language by understanding how horses perceive their environment. This session introduces the Equine Mandala through the horse’s sensory experience, helping you recognize subtle signals that reveal comfort, curiosity, or concern.

Session 2: Nervous System & Emotional State

Discover how a horse’s nervous system shapes behavior and responses. Participants learn to identify different emotional states and how awareness of regulation and stress leads to clearer, safer communication.

Session 3: Learning, Memory & Emotions

Explore how horses learn and remember, and how emotions influence behavior. This session focuses on choosing the right approach for each horse, creating conditions that support confidence, understanding, and lasting connection.

Session 4: Foundations of Horse Speak® — Safety & Clarity

Dive into core Horse Speak® fundamentals including personal space, boundaries, mirroring, and the power of intentional stillness. This session builds clarity and safety by aligning human behavior with what horses naturally understand.

Session 5: Horse Speak® in Action

Take Horse Speak® concepts further with micro‑movements, spatial awareness, and interactive communication tools. Participants learn how horses begin to see humans as relevant partners rather than just resources.

Session 6: Integration — Being Herd & Seen, and True Connection

Bringing everything together, this final session focuses on applying what you’ve learned to create authentic connection, emotional safety, and shared purpose with your horse.
